Remember cute little Emerson? Well, this sweet girl was blessed in church about a month ago and since I was in town over Thanksgiving, we decided she and this dress just HAD to be photographed! My talented mother smocked and sewed this dress from scratch. She also made the bonnet! I wanted to get some pictures that included all of the incredible detailing of the dress, with the ruffles, and smocking and cute puffy sleeves, etc. (There’s probably a better name for ‘cute puffy sleeves’ — Oh well!) Emerson was on her game this day for sure – she was all smiles, just like she usually is. I told my mom and sister, Jordan (Emerson’s mom), that I am okay with having children if they are just like Miss Emerson here. She is seriously the best baby and loves to cuddle, which just draws me in.

Anyway… getting carried away here. I can’t wait to post more photos of this quick session in Jordan and Quin’s house. If you’re thinking, “Goodness, Emerson had really good smiles that day!” – that is because her big brother, Miller, was right behind me making her giggle! Thanks Millerman for being my assistant!

Um, can I please have this baby?! Your niece is adorable. I love those pictures!!! And your mom did such a good job on that dress. Don’t you just love her little rolls on her arms? I’m excited to see the rest…
