Before + After PLUS a free edit! | Los Angeles Photographer

I seriously love looking at before and after photos. (Am I alone in this love?) And at the same time, I like to know which edits stand out to people, which they prefer the most. I did some simple editing to a picture of my nephew, who is an adorable little model, if I do […]

Nice!! I like 6 the best!! What a fun contest!

Kristen - January 30, 2012 - 4:42 pm

Ohhhh, that’s so fun! I love giveaways! Um, I like #5 – the eyes stand out to me and it’s so fresh and colorful! But the purple-ish-ness on #6 is pretty awesome as well. But I choose #5 :)

Allison Cromar - January 30, 2012 - 6:39 pm

I like #2 and #6… the image in #2 looks really sharp to me… you can really see detail in the boys face. Number 6 is a good effect for a vintage feel and certain shots. Can you tell that I have no idea what I’m talking about? Also, numbers 3,4, and 5 were hard for me to tell a difference… I don’t have an eye like you do. I like them all!

Laura Johnston - January 30, 2012 - 7:12 pm

Yes, he is an adorable little model! I like #2 the best. It’s crisp and light; I like that. Great pics as always, Stacy! :)

Jo - January 31, 2012 - 11:54 pm

I really like #2. Is that weird? I like it’s simplicity.

Lori - January 31, 2012 - 11:56 pm

#5 is my favorite! Graybear is so cute and you captured him beautifully! Can’t wait to see the rest of the Brinkerhoff pictures.

Abby - February 1, 2012 - 9:10 pm

I like #3. It seems bright, but not too yellowy. :) That one was hard. Give us an easier one next time.

Dain and Malinda - February 1, 2012 - 9:40 pm

Dain and I like #5. We are so excited to see the rest of the pictures. We had such a blast taking pictures…thank heavens for the dvd player. Love you.

Amanda - February 1, 2012 - 11:13 pm

Oh! I love giveaways!!!!!! I’ve been following your blog for months now, I love it. And I think I like #6 the best. Cute little boy, too!

Balboa Island | Southern California Photographer

Over the Martin Luther King weekend, my husband Pierce took me down to Balboa Island in Newport Beach, Ca. It’s one of my favorite places in Southern California. The small family-owned shops, cute beach houses and boats on the water, make for a fun adventure each and every time we visit. We ate at a […]

How fun! Cool shots!

Lori - January 26, 2012 - 8:51 pm

Oh, these make me want to go somewhere with boats and water and cute candy shops. What a great adventure!

Lori - January 31, 2012 - 11:57 pm

Boy, Stace: do your Balboa pictures bring back memories! Those are my old stompin’ grounds, especially the frozen banana place. That was the first place Nancy Olsen and i used to head before driving home from the beach—that and The Crab Cooker. I even remember JP Maxwell. My dad used to shop there. My grandpa and his wife, Ruela used to live near there, on Lido Isle.
Are the paddle boats still there?

Brinkerhoff Family | Fort Worth, Texas Photographer

Each year my mom schedules a time when we can have our pictures taken as a family and each year without fail the men in the family cringe. :) It really wasn’t that bad this year, we made this photo shoot quick and as painless as possible; I mean, it only took about 15 minutes. […]

Shahwan Family | Fort Worth, Texas Photographer

It’s amazing how much difference a year can make. I had the wonderful opportunity of taking the Shahwans’ family pictures last year (2010 photo shoot here) and this year (2011). Mr. Nathan has grown up so much, but still has his adorable smile, which he flashes freely for me when I’m shooting (and I greatly […]
